What is the purpose of icef's trials?

The purpose of ICEF's trials is to select the top 50 soccer players to participate in the 2019-2020 premium boarding program in Europe.

Is attendance mandatory?

Yes! All applicants must be screened to join the 10-month boarding program as level of play is highly important for the development of all student-athletes.

Is the center open to girls?

Of course! We prepare and extend the highest opportunities to boys and girls equally.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes! ICEF is dedicated to fostering the growth of student-athletes from 13 to 18 years old.

Does icef offer scholarships or financial assistance?

At this time, ICEF does not offer scholarships. On a case by case basis, financial assistance will be assessed and a payment plan can be customized.

Are the us trials open to every level?

Yes! Every player may get professionaly assessed. However, only the top players will be selected.

What's included in the us trials price?

The US trials include registration fees, professional assessment, one soccer uniform, a balanced lunch and water.

What type of student athlete is icef looking for?

ICEF is looking for serious and talented student-athletes who are committed to their game and their education. ICEF is designed for players who are capable of exceeding at the next-level, in an international environment.

What should applicants bring for the us trials?

All applicants must bring cleats, shin-guards, socks and sunscreen. Goalkeepers must bring gloves.

Where do the us trials take place?

Welcome to ICEF's soon to be US Headquarter: Central Broward Regional Park - 3700 Northwest 11th Place, Lauderhill, FL 33311.

Who will be assessing during trials?

All applicants will be assessed by ICEF's UEFA / FFF Licensed technical staff in charge of recruitment in the US.

Do i need to speak french to participate?

Non! ICEF's technical staff is international and all training sessions and assessments will be provided in English.

Are parents allowed to be present?

Parents are welcome to attend the US trials from the stadium's bleachers. Though they are not authorized on the field at the time of the assessment, an individualized meeting will be organized with the coaches and parents will receive a performance report upon completion of the US Trials.

What will the schedule look like?

The day will begin at 8:30 am and will end between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. All applicants will participate in professional soccer drills, small sided games, workshops, and individualized performance report meetings. ICEF does not guarantee the time of play to each participant.

If traveling out of state, when should i plan to arrive / depart?

The US trials begin on Saturday at 8:30 am. We recommend you arrive the day prior to get mentally and physically ready to perform at your best. You may catch a flight on Saturday night. If needed, we can accommodate Indivualized performance meeting with coaches in order for you to commute to the airport as soon as possible.

What documentation should i bring?

In order to attend the US Trials, you do not need further documentation as the one provided during your online application.

How do i know that i am selected?

You will be informed of your selection status during the indivualized meeting with the coach that same day.
